Games for a Better World

Games have always held the power to transport us, challenge us, and connect us. We believe this power can extend beyond the screen and create real-world change. That’s why we don’t just develop games; we build communities with a shared purpose. Dive into our initiatives that are making a difference.

Human trafficking is the second-largest organized crime in India, with 1,827 women trafficked every hour. Despite its scale, the issue remains largely invisible. To break the silence, MPL partnered with the Missing Link Trust to introduce MISSING, the world’s first anti-trafficking game, on our platform. Designed as a role-playing experience, the game places players in the shoes of a trafficking victim, helping them understand the dangers, warning signs, and choices that can lead to freedom or further entrapment.

By leveraging our gaming platform’s reach and engaging key stakeholders, including NGOs like Shakti Vahini and SNEHA, law enforcement agencies, and digital communities like Sheroes, we amplified awareness. The game was promoted in 11 languages, ensuring accessibility for vulnerable communities.

Missing

Sensitively spreading awareness about human trafficking among gamers

Dementia in India is a ticking time bomb. Over 8.8 million Indians currently live with dementia and the number will only increase as the population of people over 60 increases. A key challenge in addressing dementia is the deep-rooted social stigma that delays diagnosis and prevents timely intervention. Breaking this cycle requires mass awareness.

As a leading gaming platform, MPL recognized an opportunity to drive change. Partnering with Demenita India Alliance (DIA), Vridhcare, Kaha Mind, EPWA (Egamers and Players Welfare Association), and ElderAid, we launched an initiative to equip younger generations with the knowledge to identify early signs of dementia and support their loved ones.

By providing expert-backed resources and fostering grassroots advocacy among our gaming community, we transformed our platform into a force for social change.
